Posts: 360 Location: montreal, canada | Hi guy first i want to say i saw AAAAMMMAZING thing that some of you did so i just star building my own . They are not looking as great as your's but too me it's ok because it's for a personal use . Now i'm facing a problem , i'm looking to get my lures thru wire and this his what i found . http://www.tacklemaking.com/default.php?pageID=100 That's pretty what i'm looking for BUT the way they show it i'm always getting at the tail of the bait the wire swirl (bending) outside the lure... Something i do not see on your bait. So if someone could help me with this i'll be really happy !! Thank you guy's Jonth thanks

One way I've done it is to use two pieces. Here is one of my first tries that I just happen to have a pic of and how it turned out. It's not the easiest or fastest but it works.

I've recently tried this way by doing in an underbelly slit.

Posts: 1150 | Use screw eyes!!! Get the .092 heavy duty ones at least 1" long. Lots of lures off the shelf use screw eyes, nothing wrong with them and WAY easier.

Posts: 107 Location: Ohio | I posted a few videos on how to bore a hole through the bait (keeping it one piece) and then drilling holes for the hook hangers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJSdUvPqeTA&feature=plcp&context=C3b... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsRDGgXnWbU If you need further help, let me know. Posts: 360 | I have drilled the holes 1/4 inch instead of 1/8. then you can put all your bends in the wire before pushing it through.does take a little more epoxy to fill but I found 2part epoxy on the ends and expanding gorilla glue in the middle does the trick.
