| There is a "fishable" population on the Canada side Red Gut Bay and Seine River areas.
Not so sure on US side.

Location: Minocqua, WI | X2 on Red Gut Bay and Seine. Every once in a while someone runs into a random stray in the north arm and NW bay. But extraordinarily rare. There's just way way wayyyyy too many pike for them to compete with in most parts of the lake.

| One of the younger Lindner's did a segment on fishing for musky on Rainy and they caught some big fish on a cold, rainy trip in the fall. Think the segment aired last year. |

| Was chatting with a couple of the MN DNR fisheries specialists. They said that if they can't continue adding new lakes in MN, they may turn their eyes to these existing wild fisheries and start enhancing those (Longville area, Rainy, etc).
Would be awesome if they turns that chain of lakes from LOTW and Vermillion into muskie lakes, but I feel like our current hatchery and brood program couldn't handle that sort of capacity. |

| We have a cabin in Seine bay area, very low density. Pike fishing is pretty solid there and as it is throughout the whole lake. Once the pike get over 32-33" they seem to all be built pretty chunky. |
