Hello. Has anyone ever purchased a refurbished "Pacemaker" outboard from Mercury? If so, what has your experience been and how were they priced compared to a new motor? I am looking at potentially buying one (115 Opti) for my old Ranger that I need to re-power. Thanks in advance for any info you might have to share.

If you located one( which isn't easy), the price should be very good and the motor will run great for you. I have purchased several over the years.

Thanks guys. I have not yet located one but my local dealer is keeping it's eye on the weekly list. Any other places you guys know of that might have these motors or are they only available via ordering direct from Merc?
