This black Dog Turd was built back in the late 80's with a rattle. The 3 below have Dueling Rattles...

I'm getting one of these rattlers from JD and I'm excited to use it. This will be my first time using a flaptail and from what I hear, his are fish catching machines. Just gotta make sure I don't screw it up!

Aaron; Good luck with the bait.  I like these baits starting in spring W/ water temps about 64, then in fall down to about 57.

I also like fishing these baits over shallow Rock, of course weeds, and sandy/gravel beaches. Seem like a lot of fisherman like these in calm water, But I like these baits in some kind of chop, from a ripple - to a 1 foot chop...

Just finished a few Splashtails. 2 are Junior's, and 2 were built W/ a Blunt/Wide front end, Which pushes a real Nice Wake...

I picked up 2 of these baits a few weeks ago, I got 1 headbanger ( black with half orange head ) 1 flaptail ( purple chartreuse back ) and I love them. They cast great and far for their sizes and are very nice on the retrieve. Even into the wind which I found out yesterday! Excellent job with these!!! And definitely love that bright chartreuse back for easy visibility, makes watching the bait have less eye strain for sure.

Lol I don't know about all that but thanks for a quality bait!!! I was tossing that flaptail the other night below a lock at the river, and even with that steady noise of the water flowing over I was still hearing the tinks and clacks. It handled well in that rushing current. I didn't have any action but I have complete confidence in the bait after tossing it around in some rough conditions.
