Hey Everyone,

I am trying to make up my mind for where to go for a week long 2015 summer trip. I'm looking for a lake where I can fish 60% Muskie and 40% walleye (preferably good fishing for both), and a drive to location.

I was thinking LOTW at witch bay lodge, or maybe lac suel. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

NW angle. If you get tired of casting just stop at a rock pile and catch your walleyes. Next year Matt I promise we will do that!! Lol

How long of a drive is it to the N W angle once you leave black top?

Road is a moderately maintained. Heavy equipment grades the road on a semi-regular basis. As long as you take your time the boat should not get beat up. When I went I launched out of young's bay and stayed at sportsman's oak island lodge. Caught muskie 5 minutes from the lodge. No need to travel long distances to find fish.

Take a look at Tamarack Island Wilderness Lodge.
http://www.tamarackislandwildernesslodge.com/

Todd and his family are great hosts.

The island is surrounded by prime musky, walleye, pike and small mouth waters.

They also go to all of the musky shows, so go talk to them! I highly recommend this resort!
