Given that all external factors are equal, what depth can I expect these bucktails.

1. 7", 1 1/4oz, #8 fluted indiana blade
2. 6", 7/8oz, double colorado blades
3. 8", 1 3/4oz, double colorado blades
4. 6", 7/8, heavy #5 magnum willow blade
5. 8", 2 1/4oz, heavy #7 magnum will blade

In case you are wondering these are grim reaper bucktails. If you have experience working these and you like to give me some info that would be appreciated as well. Which bucktail for which conditions? Thanks.

I am by no means an expert. The main variable is how fast you are cranking them in with what reel with various gear ratios.Givin all that, sorry didn't mean to make this into a scientific thread,I would guess the fowllowing running depths.
#1. about 1 to 6 feet, deeper if you reel slower
2 and 3. These are made for bulging but can be used at the same depths as #1
4 and 5. These are for your deeper structures, say 6 to 15 feet, especially #5 being the heavy weight of the group.
They all can be used near the surface,or deeper, again depending on rod angle and retrieve speed.Hope I have helped.

retrieve speed, rod angle, etc were things I considered to be an external factor, which in the example it is assumed it would be the same for each. Thanks for the info.
