OK, there are 5 of us that have run across each other from contact on the musky boards.  Any others out there from this part of the planet, say within 30 minutes of Louisville, KY?  Bait swaps and fish stories are kinda limited, especially when my brother won't trade...

I'm down here by Lexington, in Georgetown actually. Probably 45 minutes from L-ville. Couldn't make it to the outing on the Cave. I am going to try and hit it in a couple of week's. I fish the Kentucky river alot. There is a pretty good population of musky in there, and not alot of pressure. It is difficult fishing the river in the spring with all the rain. I love to talk musky though.

I live in Versailles. I have been fishing for the toothy critters for a little over a year now. Fishing mostly at the Cave and the Licking River.

BE VERY CAREFUL OF SPUTTERBUG!!!!!! HE IS A COMPULSIVE LIAR!! He actually lives in Phoenix, Az. And fishes for trout with a snoopy rod & reel combo he picked up at a yard sale in Alaska while trading furs with the locals for whale blubber!!!! He does actually know how to spell muskie, but has never really seen one! So beware the SPUTTERBUG MAN!!!!!! Oh yea- his brother and his brother's wife are great folks! By the way, are we on for Sunday?

They're starting to come out of the woodwork now...brings a whole new meaning to the term "Louiville Sluggers". You guys need to get together and have a picnic, games and play softball!

Cool!  Glad to see other musky chasers from here.  With over a million people, we figured there'd be one or two more  :)  I'll note some e-mail addresses and be in touch if you don't mind.  Every once in a while we get together for a beer, or KY bourbon.

Mav:  I can't believe you.  You know it's a left-handed Snoopy combo.  And you have no room to talk.  I know you don't have any post-1976 lures, but if you want to trade any of those Surf-O'renos or Zara Spooks, let me know.  How's the tin can floating?  Still talking about changing to a Zodiac or shrimpin' boat?

Thanks. You missed a great event and a terrific group of people. There was more knowledge shared in those few days than a guy could learn in a year on his own.

Mav and Esoxalot:  Yep, we're on for Sunday!  We'll meet you at the mouth of Leatherwood at 10:30 (don't forget time springs forward).  We'll probably be the only Esox Mag on the Cave <g>.  We can compare notes and fish pictures and regroup.  We're trying to get there at daybreak, so we'll probably see you before then anyway.

Lookin' forward to it!
