Location: Sun Prairie, Wisconsin | Yep, I did it. I really "banged" the prop on my 618vs. I will have the old prop repaired as a spare. Any suggestions on what pitch is best for an 04 618vs running an Evinrude 150 FICT? I believe the boat came standard with a Renegade Bass prop.
Worst of all… I did it on a lake I have fished my entire life. Good news is, I'll have a good spare when all is said and done. |

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Hiya,
What is the pitch and diameter of the prop you dinged and what kind of numbers did you have running it? How was hole shot, top end, handling?
I'll help, but will need a little more information in order to do so.

Location: Sun Prairie, Wisconsin | OK, updates…
It's a 13 1/2 four blade prop with a 23 pitch. Before I decided to grind it on the bottom of the lake… It would do about 49 mph with just me in the boat and little equipment. With a full load and a fishing partner, it will do about 45-46mph according to GPS. yes, it would be trimmed up to achieve those numbers. The hole shot isn't impressive, but it does get out of the hole after a bit of bow rise.

Location: Sun Prairie, Wisconsin | Oh… it handles like a P-51 on the water. Nice tight level turns when she is trimmed appropriately. The only boat I ever owned that turned tighter was my Malibu Flightcraft. The Malibu had three fins down the middle of the boat:) |
