Want to try a new metro lake this weekend I always stick to the west metro since that's the closest. Would like to maybe try an east metro lake, open to suggestions on which to try first.

With all the rain I would avoid the St. Croix. I'd probably try white bear, forest, or bald eagle. They like to weed bomb WBL & BE. So, if you noticed this, pack up and head to a different lake. I've never caught one immediately following this.

Thanks I was thinking of trying bald eagle, anyone know how the water looks out there after they did the treatment early this year

I was out there a couple weeks ago and things looked pretty good. I raised 3 fish on one drift but no takers.

I was on Bald Eagle last night, water temp 77-78 water was ok not to many floating weed .
There were a lot of sail boats and Muskie anglers out, we managed only a couple Northerns.

We were out there last night as well. Did about the same as bubba, dodged between the sailboats and had a caught a couple northerns.
