Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Our group of 13 had a great time at Wildeyes Outpost Camp even though fishing was bit slow. Biggest muskie was a 37", although we lost a really big girl trolling shoreline in my boat and I also had one follow to the boat off a rock point downed cedar tree. The other three boats saw bigger fish including a couple of big girls.
Big walleye's were on the rock points - 14-25FOW at sunrise - I got 26.5" football on a hot pink 9" Alien, in 15FOW fishing a point for muskies at sunrise. I didn't really target big walleyes this trip. Although one of the other boats did after I showed him where the walleye's were hanging late afternoon in 24-40FOW on rock point structure's.
Lots of smallies in Cliff, and lots of laker's - didn't really target the lakers this trip. I've already booked the entire camp for next year (June21st-June29th).
The Cliff Lake Wildeye's Outpost camp is one of the original rustic outpost camps, the camp was built in the 1920's - before the Red Lake road was built. All original log cabins.
