| So I haven't used the front power cable in awhile. I put a finder in the front & now when I go to start the engine after having fished for awhile, the unit experiences power loss & then comes back on. It had never done this before. Any ideas as to what would be causing this problem. Thanks |

| Could be a low battery possibly. Is your battery fully charged? That would be the first thing to check. |

| Yep, I have had inline fuse holders cause problems as well. That is a very good suggestion too. You can clean them up with a file and put Vaseline on them to get them working again. Or better yet go with a new automotive blade style inline fuse holder. In my experience its the cartridge type ones that go bad. |

| Automotive blade fuse is a good suggestion.
I would charge your cranking battery, and see if it still happens. If it does, what is happening is your starter is pulling the cranking battery voltage down below 11 1/2 volts or so, and the finder shuts off below a certain voltage. I can't remember exactly what the voltage is, but 11 1/2 sounds about right. Time for a new starting battery. |
