Posts: 243 Location: South Central Wisconsin | I'm selling my boat and the buyers bank wants a purchase agreement. Anyone know where I can get one online and print? Anyone have something like this they can email me? Comments/concerns? ??

Location: Eastern Ontario | What is this agreement to say. If it was me I would only be offering a bill of sale with no stated or implied warranty, and transfer of registration or ownership papers. At least that's how I've always but I'm in Canada.

Posts: 243 Location: South Central Wisconsin | The boat is a 2013 so I would imagine the Warranty should transfer. I may have to pay a dealer to do the paperwork?

Posts: 1220 | I sell my boat myself every two years, but after I've arranged the sale and the details, I have my Ranger dealer actually perform the sale and the paperwork as well as the warrantee transfer. The buyer is actually buying the boat from a dealer and they like that. I only have to pay sales tax on the difference between the new and used boat and that's an extra $2500 or so for me. My boats sell quickly because there's very little smell of fish slime and very little wear from carrying around a lot of trophies.
