The Cave may not be hot but we fill into our first fifty incher of the year. Not real fat but a beauty taken by my client Bryan Hansford of Bartlett Tn. The New Hang 10 Manta orange bandit pattern took her off the Zilpo Flats in 5 feet of MUDDY water. Things are looking up in the southern muskie world. See you guys next week.

The water is muddy and the clearing we were seeing is gone after downpours the last two afternoons. Bright colored baits have about 6 inch visability as they near the boat. It can clear up fast if the rains quits. The pull of the lake still has it falling even though the creeks are running fast. Back bays were fairly decent until the rain hit.
