Posts: 32979 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Looks like the teams dodged a bullet with the storms just clearing before the take off. There were 109 teams hitting the water on day one. The word is numbers of nice fish were contacted during the pre fishing. Should be lots of fish caught in the next two days. We will be posting reports and images during competition as we receive them from the water! Day One AM Videos Marty Forman's Boat Partner better put one in the boat! Fishing has been consistent, reports coming in from different parts of the chain from all areas, no patterns yet. Front moved through and bite seemed to shut down, very slow right now. A window opened up about 12:30 quite a few fish caught a very short time maybe half an hour. Talk circulating about some teams doubling up. Going down to the wire should be interesting sun is out for the last little bit of the tournament and the bite is still going strong. One in the net for Nash and Doyle! These Are The Top Five 1- Tom and John Dietz are in first place with a 40.5" and a 37.5" 2- Joey Rozanski and Mark Gillich are in second with a 38.5" and a 36.50" 3- Taylor and Nathan Andrews are in third with a 33.75" and a 35" 4- Joseph Roberts and Terry Forbes are in fourth place with a 33.50" and a 33.50" 5- Jason Walls and Wyan Chockbergboune are in fifth with a 32.25" and a 33.75"
