I've been fishing muskies diehard for years. I live right in the heart of the cities here but have never taken the time to fish Minnetonka. To be honest I hate going in blind and just trying to figure out a lake of that size day by day without a starting point.

Can somebody with some experience on that body of water point me to at least a good starting point or a select few bays to work? I've heard the North End is the way to go.

PM me if you'd like as I know everybody hates sharing information like this publicly

In my opinion, the best strategy is to pick a few bays and learn them, as you cited. With the current wake restriction in place, this strategy makes even more sense. So in that respect, I'd pick a launch, pick 2-3 areas near said launch, and then have at it.

The lake is a maze of structure and what/ where holds fish the best changes year in and year out. Everyone has a favorite spot, but to be honest, my favorites are the ones I've seen fish on... this season. Personally, one of the most rewarding things I find on that lake is the finding new spots that hold fish.

From there enjoy the puzzle. That is what keeps me coming back for more.
