Caught this beautiful pike last week and have never seen markings like these. Anyone else see anything like this?

The Iowa DNR had a picture of one from Spirit (I think) in April on their Facebook, sounds like there are a fair number with those big spots in that system. That is a pretty fish

Looks close to a chain pickerel. Only saw a couple but that's close.

It would be huge for a chain pickerel. Plus I dont think we have pickerel around here.
