Any recommendations for a guide in the Minocqua/Bolder Junction area that would have an open day this week. I have a couple of friends that will be there Tuesday-Friday. They don't have a lot of experience and are looking for action before size.

Thanks,
Bruce

Give Jeff Van Remortel a call. My dad and I went with him last summer and had an awesome trip.

Ive got a trip booked with Jeff V later this year. He does great every year and seems like a fun guy to fish with.

I second the motion on hiring JVR. He knows the lakes well, will teach you things, and will cater to your needs. And he's a nice guy and very energetic also.

I would personally suggest hiring Fisher Friend guide service. Andrew Ragas is a good stick.

I fished with Russ Smith years ago. That guy knows his water.
