I threw the new Juice mini-8 bucktail tonight, and it was great! My biggest pet-peeve throwing bucktails (especially doubles) is when you have to work to get the blades spinning. That is not an issue with these. The blades worked perfectly every cast. Can't wait to get some more time on the water with these as the season progresses.

Cool! I'm glad you liked them. Jeff Anderson of Leisure Outdoors put a lot of thought into how these bucktails were put together. He took all the aspects from other bucktails that he liked and put them into one. Most bucktails out there are very well built and have a time and place. This one is definitely one to add to your arsenal.

I agree. Knowing the blades are going to engage right away is key, especially when throwing tight to cover and in the shallows. I've been impressed with how the JUICE has performed so far. The marabou really dances and with the contrast of the flashabou, it's gonna be deadly. Looking forward to putting them to the test this Summer in WI and in LOTW. Should be able to get some great footage with the GoPro....stay tuned.

I have been following the production of the Juice bucktail for 10 years and watched the versions change through testing here in Wisconsin and on LOTW. This weekend I got a chance to jump in the boat with the guy who bends them. Besides putting me on my first fish of the year - he gave me a t-shirt! This girl fell to a Juice mini flame thrower.

Those are beautiful fish! Very pretty markings on them (and nice fish too). Did they come from the same lake?

Different bodies of water. First fish was from a clear water lake in the Minocqua area. Second was a Wisconsin River fish.
