why do they make plane propellers go clockwise?


Flew a couple versions of Rolls Royce powered aircraft where "the rotation of the airscrew is anticlockwise when viewed from the rear".

So I guess blade rotational direction depends on which side of the road folks drive on wherever you happen to be fishing.
