If someone have experience with the Mustad tg90 in 7/0 for the pounders please share, i'm in the market for some good pounder hooks.
Hope you don't mind "sharing" a topic.

I up all of my Pounders to 9/0 Mustad 3551. 7/0 just seems a bit small. A friend of mine does 9/0 on the front and 8/0 on the back.

Pounder I put 8/0 3551 Mustads. On Mags I hang an 8/0 3551 on the Front and a 7/0 off the back. On Alpha Pounders I am using 9/0 up front with an 8/0 in th eback.. On two Pounders I am using 10/0...

I've got 8/0 mustads. They're pretty slick. I just take the 7/0's off and use them for spare bucktail hooks.

Not sure if Chaos tackle is selling them online but they have some monster 8/0 super heavy hooks for pounders.

x2 on Chaos hooks.
Thornes has the 7/0's in bags of 25 for $6.00
Gotta go to the store to get them or call but they're round bend, the right hardness, and the spread on um is comparable to a 9/0.

Does anyone know of a "variety pack" that's sold somewhere? I don't need 25, 7/0, etc. I'd love to find a company that sells about 5 of each to a pack. I've never seen that.
