Location: Kildeer, IL | I have a 1760, and I would like to network the following items:
iPilot Link
Humminbird 998
Humminbird 998
Weathersense (not really networked, but I don't know how to install this).
I've already installed everything except the 5 port hub, networking cables, and the weathersense.
Has anyone ever done this before? Where is the best place to put the 5 port hub? How do I get network cables from the back of the boat to the front? I looked inside the trolling motor receptacle plate, and it doesn't look like there is much room to fish a wire through there. I don't even know if I can get my hand in that opening. |

| I'd run the networking cable under the cap. Secure to the existing wire bundle with tie wraps. The hub can go under the console, or under the bow cap. It should fit through the hole of the storage tube when removed. |

| That would be good to know. LOL
I was able to use a fish tape on my Tuffy's from the front to the center below the step up to the front deck. There are some hole covers there. |
