Location: Planet Meltdown | Looking to pick up a pair of insulated bibs and cabelas does not have a sizing chart for bibs. Couldn't really gain any info from customer service either. I'm 5'11" and 170 and wondering if the XL's will be too big?

| Hey Brian, I'd say you have to try them on. I'm 6'1" 220# and I'm swimming in the XL's everywhere except in the belly. I think the XXL's would be giant on me. It is nice to have some extra room for layering underneath and being able to move around in the fall, though.
My advice would be to put on everything you wear under your rain gear in the worst weather and go shopping. |

I'm 6' and 195. I wear Cabelas Guidewear, both insulated and non insulated, bibs and jackets, in size large very comfortably. XL would be too big...at least for me.

Location: Lake St. Clair | Greatest bibs and jacket I've ever owned. Well worth the high price. Plus I'm 6'6" 235 and they have tall sizes!! I have XLT bibs and 2XLT parka. Both are big but are great with layering underneath. Plus you don't feel choked when you have layers underneath. |

Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan! | I am in the market for a serious set of rainwear. Spending $600 for Bibs & coat is crazy but I would do it IF they have lifetime warranty for normal use. Any suggestions on best gear out there? Anyone tried Simms? |
