Well guys, I have returned from the cave and even with the horrible weather it was a great start to the season. Got out on the water, spent some time with pops, and learned a ton from tony and the guys. Plus we caught some fish to boot.

I will repost pics. Didn't realize I had to direct link them. Back to work...

How many did you catch and on what? Nice one for an early season fish!

Had a terrible cold front that hit beginning of the week. only takers we got were either trolling tuff shads or banging shorlines with rattlebaits.Water temps were as low as 44 degrees. Didn't get a chance to put in any serious time on those spinnerbaits but I will put them through their paces and let ya know how they do for sure. if i was to go again, i think it would be in early may.

Lenny I am quite jealous. We got there Thursday and fished until saturday and we didn't move a fish. We were in the marina quite a bit! Congrats! What day was this girl caught on?

the 2 fish we caught trolling were at 3.5-3.7

caught 2 fish in the marina. the first one pictured was on Monday, and the second was on Friday. Did you stay at Tony's place? If so I must have seen you there. I took my father down. We had the green/tan Tracker in the lot all week.

No we stayed at the super eight in town. We put in by Crashes Landing, I think Tony's place was on the other side of the lake, I am sure we passed each other in the marina lol. Congrats on the fish man!
