Im getting a 1995 tuffy renegade 1800 . I have to do some interior work but big deal good winter project, and the guys going to help me. It was originaly a counsel steer but im going to turn it into a tiller ;). Its going to be sweet when its done, know ive gota get a 75 hp tiller for her but ive already got a lead on two 75hp tillers. Its got a nice kayde bunk trailer to, and its got the nice open layout I want, I cant wait to get her out on the water this summer. I will be sure to post before and after pics when im done know I dont have to borrow my friends dads pro v when I run up to green bay and winabago :-). Tuffy has bene very helpful with provideing info. She may be old but shes new to me plus not to many 21 year old guys can say they have a nice rig like this. Know I have to get a tuffy sweater and some tuffy decals for my truck. just need the lake to stay frozen a little longer :).

Congrats on the Renegade. That's a great boat. You're going to love it on Bago and GB.

Thanks guys. I had a 1992 lund 1600 angler dlx counsel steer. It was ok for smaller lakes and with 2 people, but once you get 3 people and a ton of baits and go out on bigger lakes such as bago gb delavan geneva it gets hairy when mother nature gets cranky. I will miss haveing her for some of the smaller lakes I fish, and she had a lot of memories, my cousent caught his first musky with me out of that boat a 46 incher on his first time out and on his 8th cast and I caught a lot of big pike out of her in canada and up north but it was time to go bigger. I wanted a lund 1775 prov tiller, or 1890 pro v tiller, since im going to start guideing but the price for the tuffy was to good to pass up, and the lay out is sweet next thing I get is a newer truck right know I have a 2000 chevy tahoe with the 5.7 towes a big rig like my buddies dads 20 foot prov like a champ debating if I wana get a newer tahoe, or pick up like a silverado 1500. like the tahoe since its nice that I can keep gear locked up securly, and sleep in the back when in canada who needs a motel crack the windows and fold the seats down, but it dose suck durring hunting, and trapping season people give me all kinds of weired looks when I have coyotes straped to the roof or a deer or 2 on the roof and one on the reciever hitch basket. cant wait to get her out and make some new memories maybe ill finnaly beat my personal best a 49 and a half inch tiger.

Sold my 1996 Lund Tyee Gransport 1850 last year and picked up a new Recon 985 in the fall. Had a hard time letting that girl go after 17 years of service but it was time to upgrade. Haven't got to use the new one much yet but I am looking forward to creating new memories in my new rig. Good luck with your Tuffy!

I wana put a minkota 75 pound thrust power drive on the bow, and lowrance electronics on both the bow and back by the big motor. Debating if I want wave wackers or not. Gona put a 75 hp merc or yammy or suzukie on the back maybe an e tech. I wana look into getting a just encase tackle box made to extend the front casting deck so I can have two people up front. I love the color its teal green metal flake shes going to look sweet when I get her all set up and polished and out on the water. Huge live well and rod locker its got 2 live wells one big one at least 50 inches and a smaller one that will work slick to put suckers in durring the fall and a rod locker that I can fit 7 and a half footers no problum and its already got a kevelar keel guard.

Thank you I am considering buying a Lund Alaskan and holding out for a tiller or ssv inn a 20 footer!!
I am willing to have a 60 hp motor to cover some costs but really want the 20 footer as it will do all I will ever need. and the IPS hulls in a 20 footer are pretty good.

know because of the cold weather I have to wait a week for the glass to dry since were glasing the flore in like they did at the factory. Than the carpet their is carpet back by the splash wall. I wana take the carpet out back by the splash wall and put bed liner it will protect the transom more and last longer in the back compartment back by the motor im going to put bed liner instead of carpet. That way if I spill oil it is easy to clean up thought about bed linering the whole flore but I love the look and feel of carpet.
