Anyone use this type of unit on your boat's trolling motor batteries? If so, please give me your pros and cons. Lastly, which one are you using?

The dealer in town here seems to be installing the Minnkota one on everything he sells and he has one on his personal boat and says he likes them. He fishes week long and longer trips where there is no electricity. If my boat ever comes back out through the snow banks I will be having one installed.

I have a 2 bank Minn Kota on my Ranger Reata 1850 with a Yamaha F150. Unless you are going fairly long distances between spots, it will not do much!
