Subject: Minn Kota Terrova with iPilot

My awesome wife just informed me that we should get a Terrova with iPilot for the next fishing season. Do they ever go on sale, or are they pretty much a constant price year round?

Also, I currently have a Minn Kota Power Drive, ~ 8 years old ( I assume it came on my 2005 Lowe when the original owner bought it). What is something like that worth? I works flawlessly. 12V, 55# thrust, 54" shaft.

Thanks

Check with an authorized service center, maybe you could get a re-manufactured one at a lower price.

No, not in any hurry, won't use it until Spring. Who knows when that will be? The next 10 days here are going to have below 0 F for low temperatures.

Mills has them online for $1350....for the 80lb thrust/24 volt system. I'm sure the 12 volt is cheaper yet.

Same here, have a Minn kota maxum for sale shortly as well (came with my "03" 617). Would like to know if I can get anything for it as its a sweet unit yet.

http://www.minnkotamotors.com/products/promotions.aspx

you will need a original sales recipt from the vendor along with the box to get the UPC so im not shure if online will work, ask them first you have time. I asked on there facebook page and shure as hell they took care of me like i was the only customer in the world

Reed's usually has good prices on these. You may want to check local though. Usually if you purchase from an authorized dealer/service center they can take your old one on trade. This saves a bit in taxes and you also avoid the shipping charges. Keeping that in mind you may be able to get it cheaper local even if the list price is higher.

That's what I did and saved a nice chunk of change. Had to call every Monday and have him check the available remanufactured units until the one I wanted came up. If u like to save money, this is a good option,
