Heading down to Nashville at the end of this month, was wondering how the musky fishing is this time of year on this body of water? Never fished it before any pointers or clues where to start would be greatly appreciated!! Will be fishing out of a 618 ranger, are the boat launches compatible for this size boat? Thanks in advance!!

Melton is a pretty sizable reservoir. You can definitely run a boat of that size with ease.

I ran a 205 Triton. The main channel is buoyed, and there are shallow areas. Launches are good for a 618.
