I just bought an assortment of phantom soft tails last year. Is there enough advantage to the Hardheads to re-invest. I always seem to buy 3 or 4 of a new bait to have different sizes and colors, any preferences that would let me get away with just one or two Hardheads?

Two totally different types of baits. Go buy some hardheads

One is a glider the other is a pull bait. You will need both

Buckup - If you want just 2, go with the large size (one bright one dark) and by a selection of tails of different types(should see them soon) and colors. Otherwise if you like multiple size choices buy one of each size with tail choices for a start.

Yup, very different baits. The Hardhead fishes more like a Bulldawg (one that you can fish shallow or deep though), and of course the Phantom is a glider.

Oh, if I had to get just one I'd buy the large size (8 oz) in Walleye or something similar and be happy. Having the Buckethead is good too if you like big baits, but the 8 oz will catch a LOT of fish.
