I will be going up to LOTW this July for my first time. A friend and I will be there for 7 days of fishing with the first 2 with a guide. My question is do/have any of you used the LOTW contour elite software (or other versions) to help with planning/finding musky spots? I am thinking about getting it but unsure if it will be helpful in reality. I plan on getting a lakemaster LOTW chip for my fishfinder so I could use the elite and transfer waypoints back and forth as well. What do you guys think?

One of my kids bought it for me for X-mas. I haven't looked @ it alot yet. It`s nice to look at spots in the 3D real cool. Gonna have to play with it more tho, I have no idea yet about transfering waypoints. Maybe someone else will chime in and help us out abit..
