Location: Pewaukee, WI | Other then replacing the soft tail on a 6" phantom with an original Phantom tail is there a comparable soft tail available that would work? |

Location: E. Tenn | Try a Kalin's 5" Lunker grub. Just trim the body to fit. |

Location: Central Wisconsin | I've used a kalins mogambo grub on the 7 1/2". Just cut it down to 3 or 4 rings and glue it in. I'm sure that size wise there is a comparable one for the 6", just not sure what it's called. I will add that the Phantoms tails are thinner, and I think they have a little better action. |

Location: MN | I really like Monster Lures replacement tails from his Squirkos on the Phantom. A little more action. Pro Soft Glue is what I have found works best for gluing both those and the Phantom tails. |

Location: sneaking out to get on the water ;-) | I've used both phantom replacements and the magambo on my 6"ers. You just have to trim down the magambos a lil and they work fine. |

| Always thought the tails were action plastics grubs.. You can get them at rollies.. They even have that little nipple, or bump, what ever you want to call it on the end like the ones that come on the phantoms..
I think Phantom makes their own now, but I thought the AP grubs were on their baits at first. |
