I'm really bored, need soft water to try out my new boat... and I've wanted to do this since August. Hope you enjoy this.
Here is a contest... sort of. There is only one person out there who can win this contest and the winner was determined in very late July or early August of 2002 on Leech Lake. You, the winner, were fishing in the main lake basin and lost quite a nice bait. It was attached to a hand tied seven strand leader, approx. #90, Crane swivel, with a Bucher split ring attached. It was carried E-NE by the prevailing winds at that time and was found on a west facing shoreline, a very popular place for swimmers.
As professionally tied as the leader is, I figure you must be a MuskieFirst member, and would remember your loss. What did you lose and what color was it? "Winner" gets his/her bait back plus a Paul Janssen Tandem Spinnerbait (new bait I think you'll like).
All the best,
Don

Forgot to write that it looks like #80 or #100 Powerpro tied to the leader.
