I am in central indiana an I would be surprised if anything other than Kincaid is open and with the cold we have Kincaid may even be frozen.

I talked with Chad Cain about Kincaid Lake at Musky Show last Friday. He said cold and some ice! February might be little better.

I think I remember you coming in our booth when you spoke with Chad.

There is most likely some skim ice in the marina still but the main lake area on Kinkaid should be wide open. While the fishing is much different than mid to late February, last year the first 2 weeks of January were excellent. I believe my friends and I put 6 fish in the boat in the first 2 weekends of 2013.
