Better change your title from all CAPS before the "hammer" drops and your post gets frozen :o)

Now that that's out of the way...Pink baits; fished with Gregg Thomas a few years back and he put a 51" in the boat on a pink/pink cowgirl...Next season on the muskyhunter he was fishing with Jim S. and put another 50+ on the same cowgirl! Good call on the pink baits

It was on a reef, just south of the Windigos. It was late November, the month of mist. We were caught in the open, the sun was setting behind us.
Twice it came in on us, and twice it missed the heart of us.. That's when I had an epiphany.

We love pink in my boat and its not just my wife that uses them. Some of my buddies look at me funny when I pull out a big pink lure and start casting away. My personal best was on pink.

One of my daughters always bought me fishing lures for gifts. She seemed to be very lucky with her lure selection. One year she bought me a a pink crank and glider. Took em up to lake of the woods and caught my biggest and most fish. Been using pink ever since for musky and walleye. I notice to works better in clear water conditions.

I find this a bit strange. Color tends to be one of the last variables most of the "successful" fishermen I know consider. I'm not suggesting pink isn't a hot color. But I just assumed you wanted a collectible for the wife or girlfriend and so you just wanted a pink lure. If its just the color you want, I'll have a couple of old baits that have never proven successful for me (or most other guys I know) painted up for you.

I know this post is in the BST board, but it went south before my post...

We Had about a dozen follows on all kinds of bucks and small cranks on one spring opener. We rounded the last corner in the river, the guy I was fishing with snapped on a pink Muskie killer and stuck and caught a fat 40"er on the first cast! We turned around and paddled back up river a few hundred yards. I had the same lure in my box so I put it on.after we have a beer a smoke and let the fish settle back down I throw my first cast with the pink buck and catch a 35"er.we each had a few more follows and rt as we were packin the gear up the other guy had a fat 48"ish looking pig follow it in, and I was saying figure 8, 8em, 8 em dude and soon as he turned the first circle the fish ate.jumped, a few times, dove stretched some line and came up the second time, for the net job, then she jumped again toward the boat over the open bag, banged off the boat side and shook the hook.hellava day, never really had any other luck with pink but then again I only have 2-3 in pink lures I think

I have had good luck on Tigers with Pink. Took Marc Thorpe fishing on Monksville about ten years back and he did real well on a pink bucktail. Have a Pink Cowgirl and a 14" pink Ghostail and they have got a fish each to their credit. If your fishing tigers def worth a try.
