Posts: 276 Location: in front of my comp | BUm...HAve the 8' Aurora and just love it, a great rod for casting larger baits and great for trolling, you can't go wrong...

Posts: 7123 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | I second the emotion on the 8' Aurora. Tougher than any 8'er I've handled, can chuck anything but the Mag Dawg, and that it can do OK. Still alot of touch on the rod though from having more guides than the usual rod. Slamr

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The rod was designed to sell for about $100 to $120. This price is arrived at by taking the wholesale and adding the standard distributor margin and the standard store margin. Discounted heavily the rod would sell for about $85.

Posts: 1310 Location: Washington, PA | Great rod for the money. You can throw pretty much anything with it, except for the light stuff. Great rod for big crankbaits and bucktails. Also a great topwater rod and trolling rod. I love mine.

Posts: 114 Location: Chicago | Does anyone know the rating of this rod in relationship to the weights of lures? Could one, if so inclined, use this rod for heavier baits such as the Mag Dawgs or HR Shakers? Thanks Dave K
