| Hi Guys,
I am new to the musky fishing game and this is my first fall musky fishing. I heard rubber baits are good for the fall, so I decided to pick up a few medusa's, I think the mini models. My question is what is the best way to present this bait? Also, 2 reels a 300ej and 400B which should I use to throw these medusas? Any info is appreciated!
Thanks in advance |

Location: Minnesota | I would use a slow pumping up and down retrieve. Use the 400B. |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | If you can, I'd take back the minis and get the regular or monster sized ones. You can straight reel it, slow roll it, jerk it, rip it, retrieve for a bit and then jerk and repeat. I'd go whichever has the highest retrieve rate as you'll want it after a rip or jerk to pick up line as they tend to hit on the pause. |
