Could anyone tell me what the approximate acraege in water the east portion of Lake Minnetonka is? I believe total the lake is around 14,000, but I'm just interested in the East side. Thanks.

DTE,

You are correct it is 14,004 acres total.

Depending on what your boundaries are the East side has slightly more area at approx. 7800 acres. The west side has alot more narrow areas and shallow areas as well.

The Minnesota DNR website has some good information on the lake including survey's, maps and stocking reports. The URL for the site is:
