Im concerned about the water temps if the weather holds like this the temps will be way up in the 80's by the tourney starts!

did you look at the 10 day forecast? colder temps predicted early next week

According to Accuweather its not as warm up north, also cooler nights. And on the extended forcast it looks to be much cooler next week up north. Cant wait to get up there!!!

I had 82 last night on an Itasca county lake. It was 75 last Thursday. Hope she cools down by the tourney.

guest, that is why I wrote if the weather holds like this? and TTails its been in the 90's the last few days and was 97 on Sunday and at night its still in the 80's. Water temps are climbing fast, I hope it does cool down next week, we'll see what happens before tourney time

water temps shouldn't be a problem by tourney time...only gets really hot for a short period of the day this time of yr.

Yeah, chillax

The water temps in Kabekona bay, Portage bay, Sucker bay for sure are over 80 degrees. Walker bay had 80 degree surface temps yesterday but I believe there is some cooler water sub surface yet.

Still, I don't think I can justify fishing this weekend on Leech, not to mention the smaller lakes. Too warm right now imo. A cool down should help for the tourney though.
