| I noticed everyone buys the frabill 4666. Is there a reason why people buy the stowmaster instead of just buying a power stow from frabill? Looking for a new net, if I go for the stowmaster I'd have to get the new mesh. Net has to be fold/stow. |

Location: Detroit River | Stowmaster licensed their design to Frabil. The Stowmaster costs less that the Frabil in the same size. Stowmaster should have kept using the original netting they started with because it didn't tangle the hooks. |

| Ok, so if my local store only stocked the stowmasters, would I be better off with the 94 or 116? I see the frabill mesh fits both. |

| They also have the frabill power stow, but from what ive read, that mesh isn't the same as the 4666. So it seems my best bet would be the cheaper net since ill incur costs on switching the mesh. Thanks for the suggestion, the Loki nets look nice, unfortunately, no one carries them around me. |

| If you have room and budget, go with the 116. I have the 116 with the 4666 and it is a good net. However, if i had a "do over", I would just buy the power catch big game.
The stow feature is great but by the time you replace the bag the cost is almost double. I keep the net open while fishing because unfolding a net just added to the chaos of landing a fish. So the only thing I get out of stow feature is ease of storage and transportation - not really worht twice the price IMO.
4666 is a very heavy bag. Tough to use solo. |
