Location: Minneapolis, MN | I bought a legend tournament series rod from somebody at the beginning of the summer and just had the second guide pop off the rod entirely. It appears a bit bent so I think I will have to replace the entire guide. Reading St. Croix's policies it seems like I have to pay a $75 charge to repair it since I am not registered as the original owner. Does anybody know of somebody in the twin cities area that does these types of repairs for a bit cheaper than that? |

Location: Smith Creek | If the rod needs replacing it's $75. If it's just guide repair it's $10 per guide and $20 shipping.
Or go to Thornes. Probably easier and quicker in the long run. |

| If its just the tip (sounds dirty) they can fix it in about 5 minutes.... I had a new tip guide put on a Sling Blade last year and I was in ther just long enough to find $100.00 worth of other stuff i "needed".... |
