Okay, I have to think there are other threads out here that are similar this one, but my search did not yield much.

I am fairly new to musky fishing, so here is my question: If you could only take 3-4 lures with you, what would you bring?

I know this is going to be somewhat lake specific, but say you were fishing a new lake you knew nothing about. What options would you try first?

Yeah, but most peoples list are always changing. Plus using the "search" function isn't always the easiest to find the info you want. I've never got why people complain about others asking a question, if you don't care, don't click on the thread or post.

I agree.  See post on how to improve this site.

My current top 4 lures to fish anywhere at any time would be:

1.  Mepps Marabou

2.  Cowgirl

3.  Bulldawg

4.  10" Jake

Before I wrote the post, I did a couple searches and couldn't find what I was asking. I was certain there were similar threads, but not being able to find any, I posted this anyway. I appreciate all the replies. When I see certain lures that I don't already own show up repeatedly, I figure those are worth the money.

Cover all water columns/conditions:

Topwater: Topraider/pacemaker type (with black/bright color)
Bucktail: Big single blade, or medium double blade, with abiliy to slow roll/burn both, like DCG junior or Buchertail 900
Rubber: Bulldawg/medussa
Crank: 8" jake/7"slammer that can be straight cranked/twitched/trolled

If I were to add a 5th, a spinnerbait ~2 oz, very versatile
