Hey guys,

Heading up to Boulder Junction for a family vacation for several days Sat-Wed and we will be staying on High Lake, which adjoins to Fishtrap & Rush.

Any suggestions on good areas within the lake to check out/lakes to concentrate on?

Thanks for any advice.

Mark

I have had luck casting crank baits to the deeper break lines around the islands and several midlake humps on high. I have also done better with smaller lures on this lake. Seemed to have moved bigger fish with smaller bucktails and glide baits. I really like fishtrap when the weather cools down. Although both lakes hold fish I think fishtrap has a few bigger fish that don't get as much pressure from the high lake fisherman. Have done really well there with suckers in the fall. Boated several really fat fish.

Thanks Slumpbuster. Only being up there for several days and having never fished it before, I can use all the tips I can get. I appreciate it.
