| I ssed to do this on other braid with no ill effect but I ultimatley stopped as It did not (IMHO) add much to the equation. A good palomar knot is pretty darn strong on its own...
That being said when I make wind on leader I do use 5 Minute Epoxy on the knots to the ring/swivel and it works awesome.. |

Instead of super glue, I just wouldn't cut the tag end so close to the knot. |

Location: Central Wisconsin | I'll tie a palomar knot and I cut the tag end at about 1/2" and then melt it so there is a ball on the end. It'll never pull through fi tightened correctly and I've never had a problem/knot failure. |

That's exactly what I do, works like a charm. I've lost many muskies over the years for many different reasons, but knot failure has never been one of them. |

That's exactly what I do, works like a charm. I've lost many muskies over the years for many different reasons, but knot failure has never been one of them.

Location: Madison | I use the glue on power pro with no ill affects. I use it to stop the line from fraying after it is cut. I may have to try the lighter trick as mentioned above.

Location: Central Wisconsin | Just a word of caution, always hold the knot between you thumb and forefinger and just heat the tag end, otherwise you may compromise the knot or line above it. Works great! |

Location: N.FIB | fishing glue is what I`ve used in the past and no probs on any kind of line and I`ve tried a lot of diff lines over the years,sure any super glue would work but some glues might have a chemical that could eat the line away.I tied a bad not back in 02 and the lure casted a football field in length,wondered how I casted that far until I started reeling in and no weight of the lure was there,thats why I started using the glue from time to time. |
