Location: Des Moines IA | When does this happen on Leech Lake?
I understand it happens in November. Is it early, mid or late in the month?
How much of a impact will weather have on a spawn or is it always the same time every year?
Is the spawn moon related?
Where do they spawn?
I'm trying to plan a trip around this time.

Location: Leech Lake, Walker MN | I live on leech and I use to guide there back in the day and would go out not to fish but checking the shore line with a spot light in the middle of the night just looking for where they were spawning and be there during the day and evening and just catch them.water temp is huge but when you have the right temps and the right wind that's a big deal,oh and I never left Walker Bay.wind directly into shore caos and turmoil and looking in the water and there they are in big numbers.do some home work on temps and there is no

Location: Walker, MN | There are a lot of Tullies shallow anytime after turnover but I believe true spawning activities don't start until the temps get below 45 degrees or so. Huge concentrations of Tullies stacked up by wind events could be a great thing, spawn or no spawn. I'll see you out there! |
