| In my opinion Cortland Master Braid is the best all around 100# line. Never had it break on me, it casts well and doesn't pick up tons of water. |

Bronze Back sucks up more water, but cast's nice.. I'd like to try a dryer line this November, any suggestions ??
Haven't snapped off a Pounder yet using 100lb line, But have lost a couple using 80lb line.... I switched to 100lb 4 yrs. ago.

I just hate being extremely paranoid with the 80 #. Seems like even the slightest fray will send a heavier than average bait on its way with a backlash. I could care less about color coming off. Some guys like white "ghost" line anyway. I wish 832 came in 100# |

Location: 15 miles east of Lake Kinkaid | Cortland all spring and summer but I would chose 100lb PP once the fall starts because it holds less water.

| Tuff Line XP is the best bang for your buck. I have had no issues with this line snapping or sending lures flying.
Use power pro if you're looking to send your lures on a one way deep sea diving expedition to the bottom of the lake. |

| I typically use my 100# setups more in the Fall when temps are dropping (although that is changing.) I've used power pro and masterbraid in past seasons. The Powerpro frayed om me after some use, so I'm not a fan. Masterbraid was strong, but as has been stated, it holds a ton of water and in the fall that can get cold on your hands fast. I switched this year to Tuff Line XP and so far it has not had either of these issues, so currently it is my favorite, but I haen't put it through fall yet. |
