| 1 time per month I draw out all the air on my big craftsman compressor which has 6 airbrushes connected to it. I dont have the trap your talking about but their is always water in the bottom of my compressor. I think craftsman recommends this so it doesn't rust the tank over time and blow up. But I use createx or water based paints. Which really doesn't hurt me that often.. every now and then spit of water out of the gun but that is usually from changing colors and not water in the tank. Just how I do it. Sometimes I love the SPIT pattern it makes and just go with it! |

Location: South-Central PA | Mine just has a valve at the bottom. Push the valve in and the trap drains. Can you post a picture? Maybe that will help.
