2 days ago I returned from Wisconsin. I did not catch any Muskie this year but I have tried and fished for hours a day at the prime times. I got 3 strikes which 2 were Muskie because I could see parts of them. I did not have time to try any other lakes this year even though I did not catch any I have learned a lot. The only other option is to fish at Mallard lake by me this fall, thank you all for the tips and good luck!

Keep plugging away out there Zach, it took me 5 years to boat my first one. However, the amount of knowledge that i learned in that time is priceless. I taught myself and it is a good feeling, don't get me wrong though, if the internet and muskies first would have been around back then, it probably wouldn't have taken me that long. Use all time on the water as a learning experience and above all, have fun.
