Location: neenah, wisconsin | I forgot but Gregg Thomas used to show a way of trolling big blades by attaching an 8oz sinker to the leader does anyone remember what the ratio was he was using was it 3ft line out=1ft of depth I got rid of the video and could use a little help..thks bushy |

| The only way to know for sure is to go out and get the line lengths yourself. Line lengths that I have gotten from most books/ manufacturers are not correct for me. Not saying they are not correct, but just not for me.
Go out on a length with some nice flats and just let out line until you hit bottom and then crank the line in until you just stop hitting bottom. Jot it down and your done.
Only way to know with accuracy how deep they are running. |
