Location: Oregon, WI | If I'm not mistaken, the temps from that website are simulated and not actual. I was out yesterday and when I got on the water on Waubesa at 1:00, water temps were 85 at landing with 83-84 on main lake. No fishing here, TOO warm, so motored over to Monona since they are typically cooler. It was 81 - 82 most places, but did find some 79 - 80 water on North end. Pulled spoonplugs for a couple of hours. No muskie but the walleyes were liking them. Caught 4, 27", 24", 20" and 15". Also got 2 northerns, one being about 37".
Got back to Wauby around 6 and temps were starting to drop some, by 7:30 some places were below 80. Truck said 53 outside on way to work this morning, so would have to think they dropped some overnight.
No wake lifted on Waubesa, still in effect in Sqauw Bay on Monona.
