| Hey guys,
Just seeing who all fishes the Pike Lake Chain near Minoqua (Round, Turner, Amik & Pike Lake) and what are people's favorite lakes in the chain to fish in the mid-summer to late summer.
I usually get to fish the chain a couple weekends out of the year and have only ever had luck getting follows and hooking up with muskies in Pike Lake. Seems like they tend to relate to the islands and points (or at least that is the place I pound the most and luck would have it, I run across the occasional ski there).
I have tried fishing the humps on Round lake multiple times with no success, along the East break-line and across the lake by the dam on Round as well.
Amik and Turner both seem like they are too warm to fish by the time I get up there normally.
Which lake is your favorite on the chain? I haven't seen any huge ski's come from this chain yet, but seems the action is fairly decent. |
