Location: Eagle Grove, Iowa | The final leg of the Iowa musky Trail was on Brushy creek this past Sunday. The morning was perfect with water temps at 73 at 6am at take off. Most of the day it was at 75 to 76 the last hour in some of the calm areas it was 77 to 78. The fishing was still very tough with not many fish showing themselves as it has been slow the last few weeks. There were 2 Muskys caught and released.
1st - Tracy Crail & Pete Hildreth 38" and 31" caught on a ranjobucktail and a Depthraider
Both casting one shallow water one over deep water

The Heartland Muskies inc, club would like to thank everyone that participated in this years trail part of the clubs profit ($700) was donated last week to the Dnr to buy pit tags to collect data on the muskies in Clear lake.We also donated money last fall to them to keep the areators running over winter during the low water period.
